Welcome! Larry Hennessey, owner of Whispering Pines Springers, has nearly twenty years of experience training springers, pointers and retrievers. During this time, he has also bred and raised springers. In 1999, Larry began handling English springer spaniels in field trials, placing two of his dogs in the open and nine puppies in puppy stakes - one at just twelve months old. He has numerous placements with his client dogs. Larry has also handled English springer spaniels in AKC hunt tests, achieving senior titles on two and a master title on one. His dog, Windy Acres Double 00, Buck, currently has four legs towards his master hunter title. Recently, Larry has become active in Top Gun competitions. He has a few placements with Windy Acres Little Lilly to his credit and was awarded a 7th placement in the Top Gun Amateur Championship. Larry has written a training article that was published in Gun Dog magazine and has also been featured in an article about Welsh springer spaniels in Spaniel Journal.

In Memory Whispering Pines Best Chance MH 8/19/1999-5/1/2010 We will miss Hunter and will always remember him as a great trial dog. He was my best friend and hunting buddy.
